Lucente, born in 1957, is from Calabria, originally from Caccuri, and moved to Asti in ‘66. He graduated from the Decoration Course at the Accademia Albertina in Turin, under the guidance of Francesco Casorati and Nino Ajmone, and exhibited for the first time in 1986 at Arazzeria Montalbano in Asti, in an exhibition curated by Valerio Miroglio. After that, his exhibition activity took him around Italy and abroad until he reached the United States. In 2011, he participated in the 54th Biennale of Contemporary Art, in the Italian Pavilion in Turin. Since 1987, he has taught Painting Disciplines at the Primo Liceo Artistico in Turin and for the last four years also at the prison in Turin.
