Maria Cristina Strati writes: “Roberta Toscano’s work is among the closest to the theme of the film (The Suspect): it shows a broken glass, with milk spilled on the tray. These are the themes of the key scene of the Hitchcock film, the one in which Cary Grant climbs the stairs with the tray in his hand with the glass containing the poisoned milk. We still don’t know if Lina will drink it or not. (...) The work evokes the sense of a burning disappointment, of feeling exposed and violated in the depths of one’s feelings.
