With an important background in the performing arts, Temoc Camacho approaches painting using strategies that in many ways imply a decomposition or recomposition of rational and corporeal memory. He often tries to escape the perfection of the pictorial tradition and, at the same time, tries his images over and over again, in a sort of meditation or frenetic repetition. It is precisely this repetition and the use of colour that sometimes disturbs where a first confrontation with the viewer is born, the request for something more than external appearance

There is a suggested battle between the support and the space on which we move observing the work. The voluptuousness of the line, the behaviour of the forms, the light and the shadow, the lack of definition of the faces of his figures and the scenes that surround them, condemn us to place the body in relation to the work and determine what exists starting from our ethical structure in those images, where most of the time we remain completely exposed and compromised.

Con un background importante nelle arti dello spettacolo, Temoc Camacho affronta la pitturausando strategie che per molti versi implicano una scomposizione o ricomposizione della memoria razionale e corporea. Spesso cerca di sfuggire alla perfezione della tradizione pittorica e, allo stesso tempo, prova e riprova le sue immagini, in una sorta di meditazione o ripetizione frenetica. È proprio questa ripetizione e l'uso del colore che a volte disturba dove nasce un primo confronto con lo spettatore, la richiesta di qualcosa di più dell'apparenza esteriore

C'è una suggerita battaglia tra il supporto e lo spazio su cui ci muoviamo osservando il lavoro. La voluttuosità della linea, il comportamento delle forme, la luce e l'ombra, la mancanza di definizione dei volti delle sue figure e delle scene che le circondano, ci condannano a mettere il corpo in relazione all’opera, e determinare ciò che esiste a partire dalla nostra struttura etica in quelle immagini, dove per la maggior parte del tempo rimaniamo completamente esposti e compromessi.
